Different strokes for different folks, I guess the church are best at practicing this. The number of offering one gives at a church services seems to vary from one church to another..from building collection to this collect and that collection.
The question now is that if one wants to give, do we have to split it into the different offering collection or give as the spirit leads. I attended a particular denomination today (names withheld) that the period use to offering was over 20 minutes..i just could not keep track of the different collection, maybe 4 – 6.
Are churches out there to make money. then they should open their own bank (I guess some of them are richer than some banks.. General Overseer on private jet) or a the playing to the satisfaction of their member to boost their ego of giving to the Lord (there is a part of the scriptures that say the left hand should not know what the right hand gives)
10 collections in a service or the whole service used as collection/offering time, I give as the spirit willeth.

A recent tabulation concluded that there are 10 main religions and some 10,000 sects. Of these, some 6,000 exist in Africa, 1,200 in the United States, and hundreds in other lands.
I bet a large number of the 6000 for Africa is in Nigeria, unless the writer was only counting Nigerian churches..it is not news to have a church in each street, the trend seems to be more than one branch of the same church let say XYZ on a street.
Looking at the business aspect of the church, imagine the rent and the facility needed to run a branch more less having two on the same street..Let reason and ask ourselves is it worth it. $$
Can all this churches be as a result of the get rich quick syndrome in the country (or as a result of a call from God as the all claim). whatever there reason is I’m grateful that I don’t have to commute long to go church.
